SNAPS FROM MY LIFE –nose block

SNAPS FROM MY LIFE –nose block
I had a muscular growth in my left nose , almost blocking the hole. A doctor who examined me , not for this complaint , wondered:”How do you breath?”
Normally, doctors operate it , but I did not mind it ,as my right noses is perfect.
Now it has disappeared , as if it never existed . There is a surgeon in our own body.

DIARY (27-5-15)

DIARY (27-5-15)

The day began on a dirty note. I felt intense nausea. Loose motion is not so disgusting. If we vomit, the whole body becomes too weak to stand up.

I wanted to sell my books. I fried two eggs and ate it with coffee. Somehow I managed to reach the bus stop and then the Railway platform. The RPF told me, this is not allowed inside the Railway boundary. By that time I had sold one book(autobiography). It was too early for banks to open. Then I sold one book and engaged an auto for Shakthan stand. When the auto reached near the Town Hall, I got down . There I noticed a Government Office , not known to me earlier and went in. As an introduction, I showed the report about me in the Mathrubhoomi daily. The lady was overjoyed to see it. She said:”I have been thinking of meeting you, after reading the report. Today I am lucky.” She bought one book and canvassed among the staff . In all, I sold seven books that day. I wanted tea, but went to the vanitha canteen and ordered milk instead of tea, because I was afraid of vomiting. It cost only twelve rupees.

OUR TWO HALVES ARE DIFFERENT

Life begins as a single cell called the oozote.
Then it splits into two, the resultant cells being different in many ways. If the first generation cells get detached, we get twins, who can easily be recognized by the mother, which shows that they are not identical!
This difference persists and the result is two individuals united in a single body. Like Siamese twins, our two halves are dissimilar.
Lines on the left hand vary from that of the right hand. Left handed people are not uncommon.
This difference between the two halves of the same person was recognized by ayurvedic physicians. They may prescribe different treatment accordingly, for the left and right limbs.
Sometimes, our eye lids vibrate. If it is the left eye, it is good for men and bad for women, according to Hindu belief. It is mentioned in Ramayana, that both Ram and Sita experienced vibration of the left eye, when the latter was located by Hanuman, indicating happy ending of their separation!
In fact each individual cell in our body is unique and highly individualistic. It is like a colony of people, half men and the rest women.
Exactly how this difference occurs, during cell division, is a mystery. In fat, we know very little about the cell structure and its functioning. How are eicosanoids produced? How many are these unique molecules discovered so far?

BODY PRODUCES HORMONES WHICH CAN INFLENCE MIND href=’http://www.blogsurfer.us/

Every second, our body is releasing hormones into the blood.
A naked woman, a beautiful scenery, scenes in the animal kingdom etc. are examples of mental reaction to imagery. When confronted with a cobra, it is actual command for action, induced by reality. This too is caused by hormones.
Pavlov operated a dog and fitted a tube through which, gastric juice produced in the stomach was collected and measured.
Every day the animal was given food, after ringing a bell. Afterwards he found that the sound of the bell caused production of juice, even when no food was given. This is known as conditioned reflex.
There is a joke about an old man who enjoyed sex much beyond his capacity. Even when he was unable to perform, he enjoyed seeing it done by his servants. A time came when the mere sound of the couple coming to his room, produced ecstacy in the old man!
Saints and their disciples pray and spend time, reading and hearing lectures about spiritual topics. This induces hormonal changes causing indifference to sex. We call it sublimation.
Elderly people get engaged in politics or devotion to God. As their obsession with these topics increases, hormonal changes become inevitable.
A sick prson broods about his illness; this adversely affects his recovery.
Thus the body influences the mind and vice versa

THERE IS A MEDICAL DEPARTMENT IN OUR BODY – MAKE IT FUNCTIONAL text/javascript’ src=

Fever is the common ailment which affects all of us. There is nothing to worry about it. The body has declared an emergency. That is all.
If it is caused by some viral infection, it will go away in a few days. There is no medicine for virus. If the fever persists after five days, go to a doctor.
In rural India, they give some local medicine. Mostly it is effective.
In all these cases, our body reacts and the invading army of germs is defeated.
There is a complete hospital in us. It measures body temperature, blood sugar level etc. continuously and produces chemicals to meet the requirements.
In the non-allopathic medical systems, the medicines do not act themselves. They simply activate the departments in our body hospital.

While working in the workshop section of Rajasthan Atomic Power Project, my FRIEND sARDARJY HAD AN ACCIDENT. HIS RIGHT ARM WAS CUT INTO TWO SEPARATE PIECES. With great presence of mind, he held the cut hand tightly to his cut arm and went to the project hospital. There they found that nothing was required to be done. The live cells on both parts of the arm communicated with each other and formed a single piece.
Lo! There is a casualty ward too in the body hospital
.
Two things are required to maintain our body healthy – diet that should include all essential vitamins and minerals, and, proper exercise.
Keep the doctor away!

GLITTERING GOLD

Ever since its discovery, Gold has attracted women and adventurers alike.

The GOLD RUSH, in which White men practically ran for it in Alaska, in North America is part of history. The law enabled any one to dig the soil and take gold. In India, if I find gold, while excavating my own land,  I must hand it over to the Government.

Even the religious book Bhagavat Puran speaks about the Lord Krishna decked in gold ornaments from the head to the heels! Women wear it even inside the petty coat where no one can see it!

If a woman is offered free gold ornaments, as much as she can physically carry on her body and walk ten miles, she will probably carry a weight of ten KG and fall dead on the way!

Our  Kerala State has the maximum number of jewelry shops per square mile in India. The film idol Mohanlal, selling “Malabar Gold” is the most popular ad in TV channels.

When you buy gold, it becomes a dead investment. Now you can deposit it in the bank and earn interest. Or, give gold and borrow money at cheap interest rate. This I learned, while trying to raise money for building my house in rural Keralam, at Chathakudam.

No wonder robbers prefer gold, as women offer easier target.

HOW TO CONTROL DIABETES WITHOUT MEDICINE

A popular misconception is that diabetes is caused by want of insulin. This is true of Type 1 diabetes, found among children who need daily injection of this valuable, life saving hormone.

However, elderly people who suffer from this disease, which is the greatest killer now, have more than enough insulin in their blood, according to two Canadian doctors, who are running a clinic for treatment of obesity, which is threatening even children. They have come up with a new theory, explained in their book PROTEIN POWER. It is like a water tank, getting filled with water, drop by drop. If the outlet pipe is clogged, water will come out with difficulty. By increasing the height of water level, we may succeed in getting more water.

According to this theory, hyperinsulinamia is the villain. Around the age of thirty, in India at least, the capacity of the cells to receive insulin is impaired.  To give a crude example, suppose the door of the house is reduced in size, we cannot easily enter the house. We may have to squeeze in.  When the medical department in our body gets information about apparent insufficiency of  insulin, it produces more insulin. More people will result in overcrowding in the street, that is, more insulin in the blood serum. Doctors will give you medicine to widen the door, which will be sufficient initially. Afterwards, they will administer insulin by injection, even when the patient is having insulin, much in excess of the permissible limit of ten units. There is no way of measuring insulin, except in a few research institutions.

WHAT ARE THE CONSEQUENCES OF HYPERINSULINAMIA?

1)      Insulin is a miser. It keeps everything under lock. It will not allow fat for energy requirements. You may walk daily for hours; but it will not reduce fat in your body. You will simply get tired.

2)      If the insulin level is reduced, glucagon will become active and all fat will be burnt. This is what happens when continuous fasting is done. If you eat rice and ghee, stop (not just reduce) rice, not ghee, to reduce weight.

3)      Hypertension will result if fat is not reduced, because the arteries will become narrow.

4)      Production of platelets in the blood, responsible for clotting of blood, will increase. This may cause heart attack, stroke etc.

5)      Infertility in women may be another result, because the ovum may fall off prematurely from the ovaries.

6)      Of the several ailments normally associated with diabetes, we do not know the link it may have with hyperinsulinamia, which is responsible for the production of undesirable eicosanoids. Research in this field is sill in its infancy.

HOW TO REDUCE INSULIN LEVEL

As soon as we eat even small quantities of starchy food, insulin is secreted. It may be very small, but cumulatively it becomes too high, because the cells refuse to allow it entry. So the only way is to reduce starch intake. The doctors who have authored the book, suggest 55 gms. per day. This much we may get from tomato, lady’s finger etc. So there is no need to eat starch. Avoid not only rice, but also wheat, corn etc. The eskimoes who live on meat, have none of the life style diseases, which threaten modern men and women, as never before.

For a long time I have made soybean my staple food. Eggs, curd, vegetables (except tapioca, potato, colocasia etc.), limited quantities of dhal, ground nut (all nuts are good) are taken to supplement it. Take plenty of sambharam (curd mixed with water) before food. You will be satisfied after food. Raitha (curd mixed with cucumber, namkeenbundi or kheera etc.) is a good break fast.

SOYBEAN IS A WONDER DRUG

It is extensively used in China. Its medicinal qualities are yet to be researched. It reduces cholesterol (all propaganda against cholesterol has been thoroughly exposed by the authors), rejuvenates the body and has even Viagra effect, though not immediately. My right hand used to shake while writing. Now it is not there. It shows a link to the nervous system.

Media, both print and electronic, have totally blacked out this new theory, even as they are full of articles about diabetes.

EXERCISE, YOGA AND TRUE DEVOTION

Tension is the greatest enemy of mankind.  IT CAN CAUSE EVEN CANCER. Regular exercise and yoga help in reducing tension. Things happen as scripted by Him. Why worry about any thing?

MODERN MEDICINE HAS NOT UNDERSTOOD THIS DISEASE

Why do cells refuse to receive insulin? Unless we can answer this question, we are unable to treat it. There are any number of plant derivatives, mostly fruits, which help in reducing blood sugar: from tamarind seeds to touch-me not. A patient may benefit from one item, which may not have any effect on another patient. This shows that each diabetic case is different. The farmaceutical industry is thriving by giving medicines and reaping profit, running into trillions of dollars.

Why should they bother?

ATTENTION, SOAP MANUFACTURERS

I am clumsy. In the bath room, while rubbing my body with soap, it slips off, often into the Idian style toilet.

If one side of the soap is made rough, with ridges, for instance, this will not happen.

Will manufacturers listen?

POWER OF SLEEP

Americans are crazy over the word POWER.

I have read three books- Power Healing, Protein Power and Power Sleep, the last one by a professor of sleep!

It is no joke. He has done research in SLEEP and come up with some remarkable theory about sleep arrears.

These are my observations, by way of introduction. We all know that a student preparing for examinations is always sleepy. Boredom induces sleep. I think it is just an escape mechanism. But I have also observed cooks sleeping soundly on a pile of faggots, after continuous work during the night. Here it is a bodily requirement. Nehru is a poor sleeper, but he falls asleep, as soon as he enters the aeroplane!

While traveling in a bus, I have fallen asleep, just before reaching my stop and carried onward, much to my annoyance. I used to go to sleep while hearing the Hindi news of All India Radio.

If sleep is a replica of death, both come when you least expect it!

Now about the book. The author says that a man requires a certain amount of sleep. He can manage with less sleep for a few days even, but eventually sleep will demand arrears. If denied, it will overpower you when you least expect. The driver of a vehicle may go to sleep suddenly, causing most accidents. I think this is a very important conclusion. Drivers should not work overtime!

In India, where there are too many unemployed people, why are drivers (both in the railways and in road transport) made to work overtime?

GHOST WRITERS ARE INTELLACTUAL PROSTITUTES ?

Think of it. All well known politicians and even writers are employing others, to write their script.

Call girls are selling their beauty and body for making money. Those with the skill to sing and dance, exhibit their inborn talent to please all, for earning money.

Is there any difference?

Ordinary workers too sell their labour for money. But there is no moral stigma in it. A drama troupe earns money by entertaining audience. That is honest art, because they all do it openly and honestly. Not so the ghost writers. I am told that a well known figure in the newspaper industry has published a lot of well written articles, travelogues and books- all by ghosts !

Like the prostitutes, they deserve sympathy.

A Chief Minister is unable even to read what his ghost has scripted. Many Heads of Scientific Institutions read research papers in a gathering, as if he has done the research.

Long ago when such activities like writing, doing research etc. were done by almost unknown people, who did it without realizing its commercial value; ghost writing was unknown. Nehru never read from a paper. Be honest. Do not give a lecture, if you cannot speak.

Do not depend on ghosts. Let the ghosts come out and earn their money and respect in society.
